Hiking in hot weather calls for breathable hiking shorts. These are made of partially recycled nylon and spandex, making the shorts wonderfully comfortable. The special DWR finish makes the fabric water-repellent?–?so a bit of summer rain is no problem at all. It has two closeable inseam pockets and a zippered cargo pocket. The fabric has a UV protection factor of 50+, but, of course, you still need to put sunscreen on your bare legs!
