While new shoes and boots come with a durable water repellent coating, it needs occasional refreshing. Loss of water repellency allows dirt, dust, oils, and sweat to clog the footwear, reducing its breathability. We recommend washing your footwear with Grangers Footwear Cleaner before reproofing.
